Might be excited if I wasn't already concerned about the leech flood.

I think it is just ridiculous that we get excited about awesome (?) "half the grind" weekends. They do not really add to gameplay, just encourage extreme grinding of the boosted stuff to exploit the weekend to the max.
Just like the festivals are major item/gold/whatever item grab festivals, not so much a festival at all.

I know what I won't be doing this coming weekend (besides, haven't FA/JQ in quite a while - pretty much since the bots took over in large scale).

for all we know.... aNet could be doing this to lure out all of the leechers and go undercover to catch them all and suspend them for excess leeching? ... hmm...
last time double faction was given SOOOOO many people got perma banned for botting right in plain view.... who's to say they won't be taking advantage of this event to do the same again (not essentially BAN, but, suspend and/or ban for players habitualy abusing the event).

Sweet! Double FA/JQ faction weekend! Ready? Set! LEECH!!
Seriously this weekend will become 8v8 teams of bots vs leechers. *Sigh*
Why don't they just bring back HFFF? I don't see how that hurt the game back then compared to how it is now.

1. You're gonna make tons of points when you face bots and leechers/bots. When teamed up with leechers you won't unless they have even more leechers/bots.
2. Waiting times will last forever. And when you get teamed up with bots and leechers it's a double smack in the face.
3. mAT players will be happy, extra lag and maybe some random r200 guild in the finals.

Can't wait!!! The number of leechers will go from 2-3 per team to 4-6 per team, and thanks to the failure of the /report system, FA/JQ will be absolutely un-playable. GG Anet, GG.

I don't think you guys are QQ'ing loud enough.
They can't hear you, LOL
Seriously i quit playing FA cause of the leechers that no one would report and would actually give me dishonor.

From what I have seen and I have been doing JQ since update ANET hasn't done crap about the bots there and what I am noticing now is it is mainly the big guilds that are owning the towns doing it!!! so there a lot of them. I wish ANET would do something about it, but one only hopes (not mentioning guild names)

Darn. We are due (or overdue) for a double-EotN-rep weekend, and I had figured this weekend would be it.
Oh, well. My guild is having its first anniversary party on Sat, so I won't be missing anything by hanging around the guild hall and dancing.

6 weeks from now
next weekend will be double arena weekend
then special drops weekend
then double HB weekend
then Guildwars bday
then AB weekend
Then double EotN weekend
And I'm 95% sure this will be the weekend order for this next month

This special weekend is just going to make Jade Quarry even less playable. There was at least a chance that you would get a full game with zero leeches, but with added faction, you can kiss that hope goodbye.
I wish they would DO something about them with this weekend. I highly doubt it. Even if they would do it. I can only say "Too little. Too late. What took you so long?"
Thankfully I won't even have to say that because we all know their track record on dealing with bots/leeches.
